Red Robin Gourmet Burgers

When Red Robin moved to its new headquarters, FAC was appointed to move, store, and install more than 300 pieces of existing art. FAC was also appointed to commission an artist to construct two site-specific sculptures to be placed in a high traffic reception area. One piece incorporated various Red Robin marketing materials and the other interpreted the CEO's love of Classical Art, the tail feathers of a Robin, and the fan-like pillars found in Red Robin dining facilities.

Julie Fryberger was incredible to work with. Her attention to detail, great follow-up, and communication, as well as her sense of style, color, and space, made her the ideal partner in this major undertaking. Julie was diligent in making sure our new corporate offices would reflect the culture and fun atmosphere found in each Red Robin Gourmet Burger restaurant. Although she worked hard to please me as project manager for the new office space, she also delighted in being able to please all of the 120 staff members who inhabited the new space. Some had special requests for new pieces, others were very particular about placement in their new offices, and still others asked Julie for her artistic opinion on the layout and design of their whole space.

It is rare to work with someone who takes such a personal interest in the project and has such a fundamental love and knowledge of art. I can highly recommend Julie Fryberger to anyone seeking advice and help on art selections and placement. Her connection with artists for commissioned pieces is very extensive and impressive.

As a designer of architectural interiors for corporate and commercial clients, I like to require that the budget address artwork to compliment, and in many cases, enhance my design. I need to work with an art consultant who understands these requirements, and at the same time be responsible and cognizant of a set budget. I have worked with a few different art consultants in the past, and they all have their own way of fitting out a space with artwork. Sometimes they will hit the mark, but other times the selection of art will lack a personality or understanding of what the client and/or designer envisioned. This final aspect of a job is most always a sticky situation.

I have worked and recommended Fryberger Art Consulting on many projects in the past ten years, and have been extremely happy with the results, as well as being blown away at times with the suggested media or artwork presented to fit a particular design element. I personally find that having a wide range of artists and work available to see and touch makes the selection process fun and always exciting. The recent addition of the FAC's indoor gallery and outdoor sculpture garden help me in realizing in person the final step in making my designs complete.

Julie Fryberger is a respected, knowledgeable, and energetic force behind her namesake, and I only wish I had more wall space and room for the artwork and sculpture that has been introduced to me through her many resources.

Private Collector

I first met Julie Fryberger when I hired her to curate the US West Corporate Art Collection. She had a big job due to the size of the collection, over 100 art pieces, and years of lack of important maintenance. Julie stepped up to the challenge and interacted successfully with the Executive Officers of the Corporation. She arranged special exhibits with local artists, employee tours of the Art Collection, and much more.

I was so impressed with Julie's ability that we now work together on a different level - that of Julie assisting me with selections of my own PERSONAL art collection. Julie's wonderful new studio location with an outdoor sculpture garden and representation of many local artists makes art shopping fun and easy.

Julie has such a keen eye for art, knowledge of good artists and infallible taste.
